Evidently, the well-publicized failure of Richmond Public Schools (RPS) central administrators to find qualified teachers and substitute teachers for our schools, does not extend to the hiring of a high-priced consultant and some retired *interim administrators* to help them do their jobs.
After hearing from concerned teachers and parents that RPS has hired S. Dallas Dance as a consultant for $12,000 per month (yep ... you read that right, TWELVE-THOUSAND PER MONTH) and a slew of retired RPS administrators, I submitted the following Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Stay tuned ... will keep you posted.
