"Circuit Court Clerk Randy Carter said this Thursday that a search warrant filed in the case was sealed, and the order that sealed it was also sealed.
"Asked how common it was to seal not only a search warrant but also the sealing order, he said it happens “all the time.”
"By statute, it will become public in 90 days unless the police department applies for it to remain sealed, Carter said.
"Search warrants also usually become public once charges have been filed, regardless of the time elapsed.
"Cuffee-Glenn’s last day with the city of Suffolk is May 15. She has taken the same job with the city of Richmond.
Suffolk police say they are conducting a criminal investigation involving City Manager Selena Cuffee-Glenn’s husband, Keith Glenn.
“The allegation being investigated concerns filing a false report to police,” city spokeswoman Diana Klink wrote in an emailed response to questions. “The Police Department will not be commenting any further on this open investigation.”
She also noted Glenn has not been arrested or charged as of Thursday afternoon.
"Police reports show that Glenn, 51, reported a hit and run at his home on Kendal Way last Thursday. The next day, a police report shows that police responded to a report of filing a false police report on Kendal Way."

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The husband of Suffolk’s city manager is under investigation by Suffolk police. A police bulletin shows Selena Cuffee-Glenn’s husband, Keith Glenn, reported someone struck his white Chevy car while it was parked in front of his home and then fled.
That was last Thursday. Police say they are now investigating an allegation that Glenn’s police report was false. A 10 On Your Side source says an eyewitness called Glenn’s story into question and alerted police. Suffolk police questioned the eyewitness, who heard the crash and then saw Glenn getting out of his own pickup truck. That witness said Glenn walked back to look at the damage to his own white Chevy — both vehicles are his.
Last Friday, Glenn told another neighbor a car backed up into his white Chevy and then took off. He called police, who investigated the incident as a hit-and-run. Now, with the new information, police are investigating the case as filing a false police report.
We also obtained the internal police report that shows Glenn’s two vehicles are the center of the investigation.
10 On Your Side wanted to know if there was a connection between the two cars, based on damage alone. 10 On Your Side measured the distances of damage, and the damage on the front bumper of the white Chevy is consistent with damage that could be created by the pickup truck backing up into it.
The accident looks minor, but making a false police report is a serious crime: it uses police resources unnecessarily.
No one answered the door at the Glenn home Wednesday, and the city manager did not return our call. Keith Glenn has not been charged or arrested.
10 On Your Side has learned Glenn is an independent contractor for Have Jack Will Travel. He has been suspended and is in the process of being terminated.
